APPOINTMENTS

We strive to set appointments convenient to our patient's schedule.  We do not double book our appointments.  That is why you should make sure to mark your calendar and make necessary arrangments to keep your appointment.  After receiving your reminder call, we request a call back to confirm or change your appointment.  

If an emergency arises, we ask that you please be considerate and give us a call immediately to notify us of your need to reschedule.  This will enable us to bring patients in that request earlier appointments.  Organ transplant candidates and joint replacement candidates must get their dental care completed prior to having their surgery.  Many of these patients are in severe pain and want the first available appointment.  You can help them by giving us a call if you cannot keep your appointment.

 

 

INSURANCE

We will ask you to verify all information at each visit.  Please bring a copy of your insurance card so we can place a copy in your chart.  This helps our staff obtain all the information we need to submit your claim.

Unless prior verification of insurance benefits have been made, payment for your initial exam is expected at the time of service.  Insurance will reimburse you directly with available benefits for that day of service. 

We will always strive to keep your out of pocket expense to a minimum.  In order to do so we will need you to keep us updated on new insurance or any negative response from your insurance company.  

Although claims are submitted during your check out process, your insurance company does not always respond directly to us. We ask for your assistance with all claims not responded to within 6 weeks of your visit.
